2012 Donation Letter
Thank you letters from the children
While your donation goes strictly to the purchase of new, unused books for the students we also strive to donate books to the school libraries. The librarians work very hard to make their libraries as cheerful and attractive as possible; they know that when the children go home the vast majority of them live in colonias, a large concentration of people without basic services (such as running water) in the United States.
Welcome to Starr Readers
Imagine how you would feel if a child you love wasn't invited to a party everyone else was invited to; that would sting, right? Now imagine a child you love not having something almost every other child in the country has: a book of their own.
